Agent Becky Herring
 |
For the fifteenth consecutive year, CFS will present roots music, dance, and lore of the Carolina piedmont, along with the music and dance of newcomers to our region. We are very pleased to have Becky Herring of Allen Tate Realtors joining us as a Folk Stage sponsor. Agent Becky is a Charlotte real estate specialist serving South Charlotte and Union County, as well as Lake Wylie and Fort Mill. Please keep her in mind for buying or selling a home.
We will again offer a diverse lineup of local and regional performers, performing a wide variety of oldtime,
bluegrass, Celtic, country, blues, and Americana music, as well as singer-songwriters, dancers, and storytellers.
If you're a performer or member of a performing group and would like to showcase your talents on the Folk Stage this
fall, contact J.C. Honeycut at jchoneycut@earthlink.net and tell her
about yourself or your group and when you're available to perform. If you don't have access to email, please leave J. C. a message at 704-531-9991. Please remember that J. C. is a volunteer who has a fulltime job, so she may not be able to respond immediately in every case. Be assured, though, that she will get back to you as soon as possible to arrange a performance slot. Last year's attendance was an estimated 100,000 visitors; performers are exposed to a wide audience. For more information, go to Festival in the Park Website.
