Charlotte Folk Society monthly Gatherings are free and open to the public. Each year we offer both an adult and a youth scholarship to the Swannanoa Gathering Folk Arts Workshops. Every July we invite the community to a free Old-Time Music Jam & Ice Cream Social at a local historic site. We annually host the Folk Stage at the Festival in the Park.

All of these activities are made possible through a combination of membership dues, an Arts & Science Council grant, and donations. All three are essential to supporting our concerts and programs and allow us to offer them without charge.

The Charlotte Folk Society is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your donations are greatly appreciated and are deductible as charitable contributions under applicable tax law.

When you are making your contribution through PayPal, you'll be given an opportunity to specify a particular target for your gift.
