Dennis "Cuz" Frost
Dennis 'Cuz' Frost
Dennis "Cuz" Frost began his exploration of the roots and branches of traditional American music when his college roommate introduced him to the landmark recording, Will the Circle Be Unbroken. His fascination with the music led him to become a voting member of the Americana Music Association. For more than three years, he hosted Cuz's Corner, a music/interview show on WSGE. Presently, Cuz's show is heard Thursdays on WGWG 88.3 FM from 3 to 7 PM and is streamed online at www.wgwg.org. In 2007, Dennis was honored with an inaugural Charlotte Music Award for Best Radio DJ.

Cuz's Corner, a regular feature of the monthly Charlotte Folk Society newsletter that is a benefit of membership, provides readers with insightful CD reviews and recommendations for upcoming concerts and festivals. You'll find the most recent edition and back editions in the grid below.

To share your thoughts about your favorite music with Cuz (especially old-time), contact him either at dcmfrost@mindspring.com or 704-532-8846.
